I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I too would pay considerable sums of money to not be cuddled by strangers.

Me, too. (Or three, or whatever it's up to now.) Heck, I'm going to the same massage therapist that I've been seeing for the past 7 years because I've known her for over a decade and I don't have to worry about the whole "stranger touching me while I'm nekkid OMG" thing. Well, that and the fact that she's durned good.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

All the best to you and your family, Kate. Thansk for telling us about him, he sounds like a wonderful person.

Fred Pete--Happy happy birthday! Celebrate up a storm!

Hippo birdies, Fred Pete.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather, Kate, and sorry I won't see you Sunday.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm so sorry, Kate. At least you got to see him recently.

I too would pay considerable sums of money to not be cuddled by strangers.

Who are these strangers that go about extorting money from people by threatening to cuddle?

WHAT THE HELL IS A CUDDLE CADDY?

I'm seeing a person with a bag full of stuffed animals and blankies.

"What do you think Pete, number four teddy bear?"

"Judging by the angle of the body language, I'd go with a number 3 blue blanket."

"Good call Pete."

Your grandfather sounds like he was an amazing person to know, Kate - much comfort and peace to you and your family.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

"Judging by the angle of the body language, I'd go with a number 3 blue blanket."

It's a Cinderella story...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yikes. Seven Russian sailors are trapped in a minisub with only enough air for one day. The US is rushing an unmanned sub to attempt a rescue, but they don't know if they can make it in time.

I heard this story on the radio this morning, it's a strange juxtaposition with the shuttle being up. Japan is also sending something to help, I believe.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Eeek, Nora! Got busy here at work. The short answer is a yes. I'll write more on my email....
