Natter 37: Oddly Enough, We've Had This Conversation Before.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Never mind, I found it at netscape. Reply incoming in a few minutes.
Somervillains,
Did any of you get the email I sent with my change of e address? I sent it earlier this week. I've been having trouble with netscape for so long, I forget to check it, because half the time, it doesn't let me respond, anyhow.
ION, I think we might want to have a roll-call of NYCistas, just in case anyone melted, as it is approximately 9000 degrees outside, with a humidity index of WAY THE FUCK TOO HOT.
So, no one saw the Daily Show? Jon covered the Novak meltdown. Needless to say, he was well nigh enraptured.
Also the Colbert segement on "Cooter's" boycott of the Dukes of Hazard was brilliant. The part where he's talking to the NAACP rep had my jaw on the floor.
Should be on again at 11:30 pm on Monday - don't know if it will air during the daytime today or not.

I didn't mention it because I assumed everyone had. But the recreation of his reaction was priceless.

I got it, Cindy. But then, I would, wouldn't I?
Nora, insent. If you don't get it in a few, let me know, and I'll forward it over to gmail, and re-send.

snerk! The hardest thing in this world is to receive my netscape mails. Do it, Frank. Do it, for me. You. Either one. :)
I got it and responded.
WAH!!!!
Is there any comfort I can offer to make you change your mind???
Happy Birthday, Fred!
The Burr Amendment -- named for its sponsor, Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.) -- would reverse a 13-year-old U.S. policy banning exports of weapons-grade uranium unless the recipients agree to start converting their reactors to use less-dangerous uranium
Ah, yes, my senator. I'm pretty sure I'm on some kinda list, because I keep sending him letters suggesting that we do things that are somewhat less stupid than things he's suggesting. I hadn't thought that I'd need to tell him, "Don't export weapons-grade uranium, you idiot!" A flaw in my abilities to foresee Senate-level stupidity, evidently.
You know, this doesn't even sound appealing
I don't know if it helps any, but the real name is Buca di Beppo.
