Hey, there's what he wants, and there's what he needs.
The only scorpion known to occur in Arkansas is the common striped bark scorpion, Centruroides vittatus. >[link]msbelle, when my grand-uncle got back from India after WWII (he was an airplane mechanic for the C-47s flying the Hump) he brought back with him a raging case of malaria. He was in bed shivering with fever when a scorpion fell off the ceiling and stung him on the arm. What a way to be welcomed home! He said at that point he just wanted to give up and die.
I was stung by a saddleback caterpillar [link] once, and it was really painful. It was more painful than the time I was stung on the lip by a wasp, right after I said, "I'll spray them. Wasps don't sting me." An individual fire ant bite may be lower on the pain scale, but usually you get more than one.

Scorpions are wily creatures. And some of them (generally the large, black, glossy ones) glow with different colours under ultraviolet light! It's very cool.
Cemetery can't find dad's grave
That's so upsetting--I can't even imagine. They put the wrong headstone on my father's grave. We knew precisely where it was, because it was on a corner, in the newest section of the cemetery, so it couldn't be anywhere else, but it was an awful feeling, and it seemed like forever until they corrected it.
Yeah, that would be awful.
My grandfather died in the mid 70s. He was buried right adfacent to one of his good friends, and going to the cemetery with my Nana and "Aunt" Ruby was a ritual when we visited. She died in the early 80s, but we still went through the town all the time on the way to Toronto and later Montreal, so we always stopped. It's a really special place to me. And then my mom died, and by some bizarre fluke that I still can't quite believe is real there was an open space right next to her parents.
When I go through Sarnia, which is not as often as I'd like these days, I usually try to go pick up lunch and go sit on a blanket or in the car and read a book for a few hours.

I'm disappointed that I only scored 69% Punk/Rebel (though my inner Punk/Rebel is apparently twelve). I'm also a little surprised that I scored almost 40% Prep/Jock/Cheerleader.
I didn't copy it, I came up 79% Punk/Rebel, with over 60 in goth and loner. Which is about right for high school me, if not anymore.
I've been stung I think 5 times by scorpions, once as a small child by a puss caterpillar, and then the aforementioned multiple yellowjackst. All awful, but the caterpillar sting resulted in a shot into it (which was on my neck) so that remains the worst.
