Heh. I was 69% drama nerd.
Which I really wasn't, but there wasn't a category for "journalism nerd" in their stereotype list.
Punk/Rebel was second. You know, there is a difference between disliking authority and being a punk. See "journalism nerd" above.
Loner 69%
Drama nerd 63%
Punk/Rebel 44%
Geek 44%

Hey, that's a cool test. I didn't know I had any Goth in me (way) back then.
At last night's poker tournament, I made 2nd. in the first round and 4th. in the second. It's raining cats and dogs outside (monsoon season). And I kind of really would like to see 'March of the Penguins'.
How is everybody else 'round here?
So, you know what's annoying? When it's a lovely 72 and breezy outside, but still hot enough in one's bedroom that one is forced to run the air conditioner. ANNOYING!!
from a ways back: I am soooooo jealous of aurelia's Richard Brooks encounter!
I went to a Saturday night special event at the Desert Museum, and saw large exotic evening primroses literally popping open while eager, large sphinx moths flittered nearby trying to get first swig of the nectar. There were also owls and bats (wild) swooping over our heads, and all the inhabitants of Cat Canyon were really active.
I had a great day today. I got to spend time with Aimee (we went shopping) and play with Emma, and then go to a very nice fun dinner with Kat, Lori, ita, Polgara, Allyson, and even Kristen for a little while, then we went back to ita's place and talked and vegged and laughed for a few hours.
Tomorrow should be very fun too.
I just found some photos I took of a roadrunner in New Mexico a few years ago. He's not running, but I always forget how big they are when seen in person and not from a car. Also, not purple.
When I moved away from NM and drove to Los Angeles, I almost hit a roadrunner at the AZ border. I thought it was an omen.
We didn't have Drama Nerds in high school (one of the teachers arranged a play one year, but then he got suspended for an inappropriate comment made to a female student) but I was an Orchestra Nerd, so that's fair. And while there weren't "goths" yet, I was as close as you could get - bought the import albums, had the Halloween parties, etc. I didn't write angsty poetry, and my style was more "punk" but there you are.
We also didn't have Ghetto Gangsta, but we did have Cholo.
I was just thinking,
semiotician
is a great word.
Why the brouhaha over the patch for GTA seems silly:
I just hit a part in the unpatched game where the protagonist got "invited in for coffee" and he said to the inviter, "I hope you're clean, bitch."
