I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Okay...landlord just told me they were finished, EXCEPT that they appear to have disassembled a lightswitch that was working perfectly this morning, and have yet to put it back together. They have also taken the light fixture down off the ceiling, and have yet to put it back. So I'd say "finished" is a slightly strong word.

They've been here for eleven hours. Goddamnit.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Oh, and as an apology for this taking so long, my landlord bought me a bottle of wine.

Sort of.

She bought me a bottle of "blackberry merlot." The first thing on the ingredients list is merlot. The second is water, followed by high fructose corn syrup and "natural flavors."

Ewwwww.

I suppose it's the thought that counts, but seriously, ewwwww.

Waiting for Galactica...

By the time the hour has arrived in this timezone, it is an elderly hour. Slow and arthritic.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

The bi-coastal electrician watch & post is pretty amusing, FTR.

a half hour to an hour is how long they will be. But they will need to come back to put something over some wire- before the inspection. we needed a new circut put in. The fact that this is takeing asomewhere around a fifth of the time Jessia's electrican needed to fix something that was already there...is a good thing
