Mal: You are very much lacking in imagination. Zoe: I imagine that's so, sir.

In my experience with the Amish, I haven't noticed any Amish jackasses. OTOH, my experience amounts to watching the movie "Witness". I guess I could check their website.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am afraid that direct inquiry will not provide the data I need. I need to devise better tactics.

Are there Amish jackasses?

Dude, totally. Didn't you see Witness?

Are there Amish jackasses?

There was some show on UPN a while back which lead me to believe that yes, there are.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Join a Zen commune?

Hah. I've lived on a commune. No boss (and I have a stone crazy one right now, so I know of what I speak) is as bad as thirty people having to decide everything by consensus.

You think Bureaucrazy gets bad? You have no idea.

A Hot Amish Jackass, no less. Umm, Gudonov. (Not you, though I'm sure you're delicious in your own way.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Where was the commune?

I lived in a housing coop with more than 30 people. Howerver, most didn't participate in meetings, so we only had to consense on about 9.

I grew up quaker. I know of what you speak. My freshman year roomate grew up quaker on the Farm (in TN somewhere?) I'm sure she knew even worse.

I can't even.

There was an Amish jackass in Witness?

Psst, Gud's okay with the shunning. Pass it on.

Umm, Gudonov.

You thought the Daniel character was a jackass? I thought he was just standing up for himself, and he did keep a respectful distance while the English was truly in the picture.
