In my experience with the Amish, I haven't noticed any Amish jackasses. OTOH, my experience amounts to watching the movie "Witness". I guess I could check their website.

Where was the commune?
I lived in a housing coop with more than 30 people. Howerver, most didn't participate in meetings, so we only had to consense on about 9.
