Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

DHL.com tells me that my new mini mac is "with delivery courier." It does not tell me where the delivery courier is.

Steve Jobs has it.

Oh do I get a free Steve Jobs with order? Because I really need someone to explain why iDVD doesn't work properly.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Be wary of the free Steve Jobs. The hardware is free, but the lifetime supply of black silk turtlenecks adds up.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Okay...Better Electrician Guy has been poking around for almost half an hour, and he has succeeded in somehow disconnecting the power to my refrigerator. Which is on a separate circuit from the outlet that he was supposed to be fixing.

t bangs head against wall

I just need him for the iDVD issue. Maybe I can sell him, slightly used, on ebay after.

Better Electrician Guy

Um. I think he might need a new name.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

UPS.com tells me my TiVo is sitting on the front porch. Now I get to worry all afternoon about whether it will still be there when I get back.

UPS says that my Harry Potter book has left the UPS center that's, say, 10 miles away from here, and is "In Route to Final Destination."

Now, that's different from "Out for Delivery," which is what it usually says at this point. But I read that UPS is delivering the HP books to the USPS, and they (the USPS) will deliver books to people's homes tomorrow. (Because UPS's weekend delivery charges are too high.)

Thag want book now.

Better Electrician Guy

Um. I think he might need a new name.

It is turning out to be a more ironic nickname than I'd hoped.

I'm supposed to get my HP delivered tomorrow by Amazon, but since DH ordered it (on his account), and is at ComicCon all weekend, I can't check on the shipping status.

HP is at our local B&N not sure if we will get it at midnight or wait 'til tomorrow morning. Depends on the awakeness. midnight might actually be fun. If I have my sense of humor back then.
