Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Looks like the Angel Puppet is finally available for order. (it's not really a good picture, it's way cuter in person).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The undamaged Angel puppet went on sale a couple months ago, didn't it?

YO! PEOPLE!

Stop watching the shuttle launch online over and over and over. You're impeding my ability to surf and avoid work here! It's up. Local tv will probably run footage several times tonight. YOU AREN'T MISSING ANYTHING.

I hadn't heard that it was finally available, too. The link is to the battle-scarred, removable-nose Angel.

Did you see the link to a follow-up story to the spammer's murder?

Russian Media Hails Spammer’s Murder

coupla excerpts:

Russian-language media, both online and offline, has made little effort to conceal one central thought when dealing with the spammer’s demise: that somehow the late Mr. Kushnir got what he deserved. “The Spammer Had it Coming”, one headline reads. “Spam is Deadly”, “Ignoble Death Becomes Russia’s Top Spammer”, “An Ultimate Solution to the Spam Problem” - 84 Russian-language news captions on Kushnir’s murder, retrieved by the Yandex News search engine within a day of the event, seem to share the general feeling.

It’s little wonder, then, that Vardan Kushnir became as popular a character among Russian-speaking Internet users, as Lord Voldemort must be among Hogwarts’ fans. And a tale of some anonymous ’Harry Potter’ paying him a private visit on a warm July morning produces quite a predictable sensation among the audience. Of course, everybody understands, that spam will not stop with Kushnir’s demise — it will persist for years to come, exactly the way Lord Voldemort finds his way back into the picture with every new installment of the Harry Potter saga. But this time, the magic wand has for once dealt a deadly blow to the arch-villain, and there seems to be no option left for the spectators, than to hail the magic.

Now, I'm as sick of offers to increase the size of my member as the next person, but - Dang! These guys are harsh.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Wow. I wonder how they're going to narrow down that list of suspects...

One of the dudes I work with (whose email box is always full of this spam) said that it's more likely about the competitor business in Russia. His former pupils started their own English school and it's been pretty nasty.

What is even happening?

Dang! These guys are harsh.
Wow. I'll say. That bit about the Harry Potter paying him a visit is really kind of callous, considering the man is dead.
said that it's more likely about the competitor business in Russia
Does he mean like a Russian mob thing, or just legit business?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Does he mean like a Russian mob thing, or just legit business?

Not a very clear line, actually.

2. They have a battery powered vibrating razor for women. It's called Venus Vibrance [link] and my mind goes to a bad bad bad place whenever I see the ad.

They have a what now? How does a vibrating razor do anything but cut you to ribbons?

I'm a little appalled by the jokey responses in the media to the spammer's murder. Sure, everyone hates spam, but I'd think very few people actually consider it a killing offense.
