Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I bought organic maple syrup in Montreal. In fact, I bought three sorts, and will taste test in short order. Mmm.

You know when someone waves at you, and it's not really you, it's the person behind you they're communicating with? I was on the waver side of that yesterday, so now there's this guy who may be wondering "ita likes me how much?" when really I was overacting for the dork behind him.

I have a link, but unfortunately, I can't share it. It's internal.

My a/c ran all day and night. Because it SUCKS.

I have a headache. But I don't think it is hunger this time. I think all the crap air quality that comes with this kind of blast furnace is getting to me. It sometimes does. Not supposed to break until thursday. I may be freezing some towels.

They are now saying 100F. It is currently 82 with 70% humidity. Grrrng.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The Museum of Food Anomalies

There should be a whole page just for happy faces, so you can recover from the freaky shit. Says me.

I wish it were lunch time. Alas, I guess it's work time, but bleh. Who wants to work?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAT!!!

May it be a wonderful one.

I can't even.

Happy birthday to Kat!

It "feels like" 93 here with the humidity at the moment, apparently, and I'd have to say it is pretty humid, what with the steady raining. 60% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon then temps in the 80s the rest of the week. That would be okay.

Second day with the new contacts. Still weird.

Happy b-day, Kat.

My officemate just arrived festooned with cicada guts. It kamikazied into his HEAD on the beltway and exploded.

Also, putting out a job posting a week or so before a big layoff takes place is EVIL. I know it is because this was a position where the person was fired for cause, but still...
