Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Amy Sedaris is a little crazy, it's true. But in a cute way? I'd think the makes-cupcakes real-life pretty Amy Sedaris rather than the crazy character Amy Sedaris.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

We have a folder of projects ready to be archived and the name is too long for the windows I have open as I am browsing through things making sure the files are in order.

It reads: clean-up f...en archive

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

All this thunder and storm and big red blob talk has made me realize how absolutely awesome a view I will have from my balconey if there is ever a lightening storm over the bay.

I want this to happen today, or maybe Wednesdy after I pick up the adirondack chair I bought yesterday.

Oh! A little bit of Maine in SF.

eta...

I know Adirondack is in New York State, but the chairs are very big in Maine and Perkins likes Maine and never mind.

Plus, we have Adirondack chairs in our place in Maine, which I won't get to this year.

We have them at our place in Maine, too. And I've only gotten there once this summer, despite the fact it's only about 65 miles away. *sigh*

I'm sorry you won't get there this summer, Perkins.

Me too, though it was expected, what with the new job and all.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We are having Ploughman's Lunch for dinner (kind of an oxymoron). We had it last night and it was yum and perferct for the hot weather.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I had the Kat's-cheap version of a ploughman's lunch for dinner last night and breakfast this AM. But for lunch, I had a salad at Mo's. Twas good.
