It's unusually hot in San Francisco today.
Downtown, maybe. Out in the Inner Sunset, the fog finally burned off about an hour ago -- and, looking out the conference room window, it appears that all I've gotta do is walk six blocks east to get trapped in the cold and damp and gray again.
I feel incredibly ungrateful, knowing how most of the country is suffering in the heat, but I'm really quite unfond of my neighborhood right now.
flail flail flail
The hiring manager for the full-time editing position I submitted my resume for wants to meet for a 'get-to-know-you' coffee this week, before he sets up any interview loops. Someone please remind me that not only have I done well on interviews before, but that I've actually worked on that team before.
I love how when it gets to a non-humid 80 in San Francisco, everyone freaks out.
Pfft. I'm not freaking out. I'm taunting. Whole different vibe.
Yes, but it's not 80 yet, is it?
They came and asked you for a resume, Jilli! You will rock the coffee.
Yes, but it's not 80 yet, is it?
Then we will get our freak on.
It's unusually hot in San Francisco today.
Got up to 71.
I had to go get a Jack Daniels Butter Pecan gelato at Ciao Bella.
You are the devil. It's 100 here. This is insane.
Got up to 71.
I am moving to San Francisco.
I am moving to San Francisco.
Make sure it's the city proper, and not the 'burbs. It was actually a little hotter in Belmont this weekend that it was in some parts of LA, according to the Nat'l weather service site.
Oh my god, the stupid in my inbox, it
burns
us, precious!
