Aw, Buffistas being all sweet and stuff to me.

I just have to say...
I AM SO JEALOUS OF ROBIN!!!
(and happy to hear that GH is a nice guy. So nice when actors are nice people too. I hope he gets more cool projects. Although I'm not sure he'll ever be as hot in another role as he is/was as Brian Kinney.)
eta: so when you meet a person like GH and you already know who he is, do you acknowledge this in teh conversation or just go about talking to him like he was any other guest at the party?
(although ewww statistics)
On the bright side, everyone else in the class (except two brilliant yet annoying people) will be hating it and having to work their tails off to pass.
eta: No, I'm not exactly sure how that's the bright side, but it seemed like it at the time.
I am also very jealous of Robin. I have wanted to meet GH ever since I heard the story of his casting for QaF.
It's allowed to be jealous, not because Robin was at a BBQ with GH, but because GH was at a BBQ with *our* Robin, right?Yep.
Is it a bad thing that I am really really tempted to put "twiddle thumbs" or "read novel" in the non-billable section of my time sheet?"Stress management"
I have my alphabet back!!!!!! Thank you Maria, Plei and everyone else who not just mocked me, but told me how to turn off the frelling faux ten-key. The cassbot has now been deactivated.
I had ice cream, but no Robin. Bah. I lamed out on going to Cold Stone, because I was wearing bad shoes, but I got the strawberry shortcake at Baskin Robbins, and I can only imagine how good blueberry shortcake would be!
No matter what stuff you're obsessed with, there's always folks more obsessed than you that you can make fun of.
Hell yes.
I have wanted to meet GH ever since I heard the story of his casting for QaF.
Tell!
Playing catch-up... I could watch a lot of things as a kid as long as they had a cherry-top in the shot somewhere, and I mean "serve and protect", not porn.(it's nice when your parents give you their fascinations, in a frightening way.) Other than that, childhood tv was MASH sometimes, Cheers, Family Ties, The Cosby Show(which feels boring now and didn't then...maybe cause I'm a Wirehead now.) Oh! And my first favorite...The Muppet Show! And I guess the A-Team and Star Search, both of which mom hated hugely. And I'm glad, Robin, that GH is not very much like Brian. Brian is a dick. I still can't take my eyes off him, but... I had a friend in school that was a bit like Lane from GG except her parents were, like, Maxi-hippies, and wouldn't allow their girls to watch very much TV at all. I believe R. Liked cable almost as much as she liked me. And we drank soda and ate candy... wow! (Anybody who could make my mom look permissive was funny to us.)
