My fam is Anne's, only not so much with the sculptural fabulousness. Sex and violence weren't ever banned, but there was a constant refrain of "you can't watch that - it's CRAP".
That was our biggest rule. Except I remember once my nana jumping up off the couch and slapping the tv off because people were kissing on Dallas.

IIRC, Dallas was Friday night, and Love Boat/Fantasy Island were Saturday night. I'm positive about the LB night because I had a regular babysitting gig on Saturday nights for nearly a year, and that was the only thing on TV that I found remotely appealing. (Of course, I was 12-13 years old at the time.)

No, it was Dukes of Hazzard, Dallas and then Falcon Crest on Fridays.

OK, there was DEFINITELY no Dukes of Hazzard in my house, and I'm sure I had to go to bed at 10, so I don't know if the parentals watched Falcon Crest. But I doubt it.
