I cannot get the image of Ken Griffey Jr with his gigantic forehead to go away. Thanks, Tep.
Heh. I live to serve.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Oh, did you see that photo of Dave Roberts (SD) in the NY Times the other day? It's off the front page now, but it was a beautiful shot of him catching something in mid-leap (not full extension) in the outfield, juxtaposed against the ad behind him. Lovely composition for an action photo, and more to the point, it showcased his electric energy.
(It was also an article about how glad he is he's not in Boston -- he is a southern California native, and prefers to stay that way -- but in a nice way.)
I totally think that ("JUST EAT A MUFFIN, WHITEY!") on a semi-regular basis.
I also continue to be amused, or is it outraged, by the fact that the whole point of GTA is killing people and dealing drugs and other sorts of crime, and yet it's the sex download that everyone's up in arms about. I mean, right?!?
Full Extension!
Damn. Although it's the fact that he threw the guy out that really impresses me.

Yep, that and Scrappy Inferno are buffista earworms with me.

No, you're totally right.
Hee. But hey, when I think of how uncomfortable I am walking around without a bra...
I mean, right?!?
TOTES
I sing "Scrappy Inferno" to myself allatime.
In a similar vein, another great baseball photo, the Wizard of Oz.
After the talk about weird ways of injuring yourself, I just came across this while buff-diving:
Herah: Do I need to remind you that I kneed myself in the face, while laughing at a lame sitcom? DH demanded that I come up with a better story for the black eye; he thought "I hit my eye with my knee" would make people suspect him.
The Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments, a nonpartisan Washington think tank, has estimated that the Korean War cost about $430 billion and the Vietnam War cost about $600 billion, in current dollars. According to the latest estimates, the cost of the war in Iraq could exceed $700 billion.
Put simply, critics say, the war is not making the United States safer and is harming U.S. taxpayers by saddling them with an enormous debt burden, since the war is being financed with deficit spending."
Fun. </Willow>
