Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And you've never tried to sell this story to Cracker Barrel for their advertising?

At the very least, we should get a lifetime of free food.

Susan - you left a period off the end of that link.

I got the same thing from that one, TB: "There is no text on this page"

Yeah - you did. The automatic features cut that period off, and place it after the link. I tried to get around it and ending up with some code that frells the board. So I'm leaving it alone. Susan posted fine. We've just a hit a minor bug in code. Meantime to use her link, just paste it and add a period.

OK the frelling on manual links was due a typo on my part. So this should work:

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Heh. Possibly you're not familiar with CB's general stance on such goings-on?

How are the s'nephews, anyway?

John Roberts seems to be somewhat of a wanker.

Heh, I like "s'nephews."

They're doing great. Max (the oldest) has finished 1st grade - so far he's doing well in school - he likes school, too.

Yeah, that bio basically makes him out to be the anti-Souter. Although what's there looks a lot more conclusive than what was availaible about Souter.

Ann, that's a ferret.

From Susan and TB's link on Roberts:

He was a law clerk for...William Rehnquist

serve from 1989-1993 as Principal Deputy Solicitor General under Kenneth Starr

down-the-line conservative on key contested fronts, including abortion, separation of church and state, and environmental protection.

clerking for Rehnquist, membership in the Federalist Society, laboring in the Ronald Reagan White House counsel's office and at the Justice Department into the Bush years, working with Kenneth Starr among others

This is not someone I'd trust as one of the Supremes.
