Now hold on, I'm gonna press the right pedal harder. I expect us to accelerate.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Heh. All I have to do is mention the words "Olive Garden" to my very Italian SIL, and she starts to gag.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm not even the tiniest bit Italian, and the words "Olive Garden" make me queasy.

Olive Garden is a parody of an Italian restaurant. The one time I went there I kept expecting to see an organ grinder with a monkey.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

When I went there not only was it overpriced, our waiter smelled, the place was dirty and dingy,

34th Street? That was the one I walked into, and out of. NAST.

though that doesn't apply to the slide show of Coca-Cola bits and movie trivia and local ads that play in my theatres between all the movies.

I don't mind those slide shows, because you can talk through them AND they give you something to talk about. "Man, look at that nose job!"

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The slide shows are fine, because they don't have blaring soundtracks. That's the part I don't like.

Wasn't the first ad (not trailer and not slide) shown in movie theaters a Michael Jackson Pepsi spot? Possibly the one that set him on fire? I remember seeeing that before something, but the aspect ratio was wrong and everyone was squooshed.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

34th Street? That was the one I walked into, and out of. NAST.

Oh yeah. We'd just gotten out of the Loews and that seemed the only place to eat in that neighborhood. I was just saying to Bob last night while we tried to navigate 36th St that I hated that nighborhood so much-- crowded, but with nothing to recommend it.

I dislike commercials before movies, but they do keep costs down. I guess I don't even mind "The Twenty." Oh, and, I still heart Inconsiderate Cellphone Man. "Marty, you're a Joker!" Saw Huebel last night-- he's brunet now but still adorable!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

They've had ads in European cinemas since at least the '80s.

Mustang Sally's and etc. down 7th (?) are OK.

Inconsiderate Cellphone man is awesome. (A) Funny. (B) Not on my tv at home. (C) Not trying to sell me anything.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I like Olive Garden. I'm a philistine. (Mind, I don't walk in there thinking it's gen-u-wine Italian food; it's the American concept of Italian. Much like 99% of the Chinese restaurants in the Midwest.) But I have no problem with Olive Garden.

Let the shunning begin.

I hate the ads before movies and would like to beat the Fantanas to death with oversized Fanta bottles.

Developers are getting snippy at me because the customer isn't using the toold they developed for them. Um. This is my fault how? I'm outta this loop, kiddos.

BUT! I got to play with Merle H. Otter Kitten. Cute wee fierce kitten who can now rear up for attacks and do the pounce butt wiggle without falling over.

Lucky for the developers.

I hate the slide shows. Out of focus, too repetative, backwards, cheap, stupid....so many possibilities for me to nitpick.
