It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Ugh--I hate the hot and muggy that we have here (Durham, NC). I'll be spending the next month and a half dashing from AC source to AC source.

I think it's somewhere in the 60's outside now, and set to top out in the mid-70's. As is only right and proper.

See, this is what I consider proper living temperatures. Which is why the Pac NW is currently buried under cover letters and resumés with my name on 'em.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

someone to cluestick a few people in Chicago.

Oh! Gimme their addresses. I feel the need to express some repressed anger. Particularly at people who don't know me.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I can deal with heat fine as long as there's AC to retreat to.

Unfortunately, around here it feels like the walls and AC aren't keeping out the humidity. I feel like I'm swimming even indoors.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now I want buffalo fingers. I'm too lazy to deal with eating wings, but am ALL OVER the hot sauce.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Buffalo wings are great, if I don't have an anywhere to be afterwards. Lot of work for the reward, but nice and tangy. And gentle on the delicate mouth.

Okay, leaving for home now.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Hot and muggy here too. Today there was an air quality warning issued in the state of Connecticut. Hartford is covered in smog.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've never been to a Ruby Tuesdays, all I know about them is their ads, which feature hamburgers with shrimp on them. That's not appetizing.

I have completed the task that kept me from calling in sick this morning, yet I feel compelled to stay at work until 4. Stupid compulsion.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Wasn't there an article about people paying more than face value (when shipping is included) for this sort of thing?

Yep, that's why I suggested it.

Vegetables don't have wings.

Then again, chicken don't have fingers.
