Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

PC, can I put those in just for the fun of it?

Can there be profanity? I mean, I can de-profane it, but a few days ago, I did write out a "recipe" for Chicken à la Polter-Cow, and I will retrieve it once the TWoP forums come back up.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Here's my recipee:

Add food to the heat-thingie. It's best to put food in some sort of heat-proof container first.

Remove food when it is "done." Eat.

To accelerate the process, food may instead be bombarded with electromagnetic radiation of the microwave spectrum.

What is even happening?

We could name that section: Rice in a Tube A La Sean, and Other College Boy Anti-Starvation Tactics

Oh! Guys! Did I tell you I totally made fettucine alfredo WITH CHICKEN all by myself? I just followed the instructions on the box with the cutting up of the chicken (AND OMG I ACTUALLY HAVE A SKILLET WHO KNEW?!) and the putting on the stove and I sprinkled on some oregano for kicks and then I put the seasoning packet thing in and the pasta and it TOTALLY WORKED.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

It's best to put food in some sort of heat-proof container first.

The boys at the Reality Food Network could have used that advice.

(Watch the sushi ep! The rice catches FIRE!)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The reality of my life now is occasionally frustrating, and as much as I love my child, depressing.

I feel you and I am working and out fo the house every day and it's till frustrating as hell what we have to budget for and save for.

I am all for the Bitchlist, though, I'm not sure how much I could reciprocate (I tend to think big) and I would feel bad if anyone sent me something kinda spendy. Not that I'd send it back cause I am a greedy Bitch, but, well, ya know.....

Em had her 9 month check up last night. 2 shots, which were handled ok. She's 28 inches tall and 16lbs 2oz. She went down into the 10th percentile for weight and is hold ing at the 75th for height. Doc said she's alert and happy and making all of her milestones early, she's just very active. I upped her bottles to 8oz just Monday and she's eating better now that she isn't sick anymore, so hopefully by her i year checkup, she'll be back up in her weight.

vw, I do have recipes, I just have to sit down and write them up.

I think that's it for now....

The who now?

Good for you, P-C. Actually, someday when you feel daring enough to go ahead without the pre-packaged seasoning, the Alfredo recipes I've seen on the side of Fettucine packages are pretty straight-forward and easy, too.

Whoa. Let's not get ahead of ourselves yet. I just discovered I actually am capable of Just Adding Chicken.

Thrive to spite them

I have a really easy casserole recipe. It needs a catchy title. It's chicken, rice, cream of whatever soup, frozen veggies, and cheese. Not fancy, but plenty tasty.

From photos, Joe looks pretty wiry. Is he, Aimee? I always figured Em just inherited his body type. Regardless, it's sort of hard to predict what a baby of that age is going to be like weight-wise as a toddler, younger child, and older. My niece was smaller than Em. They actually did a sweat test on her (for CF) because she was so tiny. She's almost thirteen now. She's shorter than average (I don't think there was too much genetic hope for her to be of average height) but she's actually in the puberty-pudge stage right now. When she was a year, I'm not sure if she weighed 14 pounds.

Benjamin was a bomb. By his first birthday he was 30 pounds. He looked like someone stuck a pump in him, and inflated him. Now he's long and tends toward lean, except right before a growth spurt.
