Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yay for best friends coming to weddings!

And big (but only 92/100, cause you know *only* 92...) yays for MTEL results!

It is warm but just lovely today. I'm going to grab an ice pack and flop down to watch some tv.

What is even happening?

You so fresh, Cass.

Did you go to work, today? Are you going tomorrow? How's your poor back?

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

Eh...I'm still waiting for the Good Thing train, like every other bit of transportation in what passes for my adult life. Oh, well, maybe it'll be along. And I guess I'm not stuck in flood.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

billytea, what if she doesn't like Buffy?

Well, then she's not the nerd she claims to be. It's sad, really. She has the nerd instincts, but it's like she's been denied knowledge of her nerd culture and heritage.

Yes!

What I really need to introduce her to is San Diego Zoo (and Wild Animal Park and Seaworld). However, this requires more planning.

Today is the last day at home for me. Taking all of the time that the doctor wanted was a really good thing. Thank you for the *ahem* encouragement and browbeating to actually take care of myself and not cave to pressure for work.

I managed to finally do some of my dishes and laundry today which is the first thing that has been done around here in about two weeks.

My back is really doing better. And I am trying to be really good about not putting too much strain on it for a while.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

beej, safety~ma to your friend's mum.

Emily, great test score! Who cares if all they care about is pass/fail, we all know the truth and we shout it to the skies. Emiley is 92% perfect! Whoot!

IOmeN, I'm severly disappointed. I was looking forward to roasted asparagus for dinner and it wasn't until I reached in the veggie draw that I realized I'd thrown it out two days ago for getting slimy. Sigh. Some vegetables just don't last long enough, even in the fridge.
