Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Or an echidna killed their brothers.

nodnodnod I'm going with this.

Hmm. Seems bonkers to me, billy - from your description of the event, though, I remember you said that you were treating it kind of like performance to a crowd, type of thing (which I can totally sympathise with) and that one of them commented on this. Could that be it? Or are they all insane?

Oh, hey, I recorded a voice message!...only I don't know how to let you hear it, because it seems that you have to be a member of the site to hear it. Huh. I do talk veryveryvery fast, and sound a bit too blonde, but never mind, eh?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I don't think so. If I may say so, I'm an impressive performer. I mean, one or two, sure, but I was checking on body language as I was going and I was getting good reactions - open positions, mirroring stance, active expressions. (And I consistently got a great reaction from the one-liners and all.) Plus, I occasionally pulled little tricks like increasing intimacy by motioning them in for mock secrets, and didn't encounter resistance. (On the flipside, I was also very careful to provide active and interested listening.) I mean, it wasn't a perfect performance, but it was damn impressive for a Jona Lewie kind of guy (you'll always find me in the kitchen at parties).

The woman who commented on it, I think it actually helped. I mean, it's a boost to her, very perspicacious, and it was something we could laugh about. I'm going to have to sleep on this and think about what I can improve, but at bottom it feels like I was either too old, or too squishy, or both. (But it's fun! I'm like a stressball!)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

My bro still smokes pot on a daily basis. I think this might be the trip for me to take up the habit.

I'm sayin'. Dude. What was I saying? Well, it might help. Unless you get paranoid easily on the stuff.

Trust my rage

Timelies, all!

I went to bed last night at 8:30 with a fever/chills/aches. I haven't had a fever in years, but I felt so awful. Thankfully, my mom is awesome and she took Ellie for me and just woke me up to nurse. The fever is mostly gone this morning and I'm greatful for that.

Stephanie! The bar is coming up soon, isn't it? I'm vibing hard for you....

Thanks, Maria! I can sure use it. 11 more days.

I still don't have my bar exam admission certificate yet. I sent my application the first week in March. The bar examiners have lost 2 certified letters I sent them. They made a huge deal about having stuff notarized and certified. Then when I called yesterday, the woman told me to just fax a copy of the stuff they had lost. I'm not complaining about the fax part, but they made me jump through so many hoops and then they don't enforce their own rules or keep track of the paperwork they receive. These are the same people who gave me such a hard time about the breastpump (which shouldn't be an issue, BTW, because Ellie has been going 4 hours at night. It won't be comfortable, but not too distracting either)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Skipping like a skipping thing, here.

Ya know what would be funny. Or sick... if I got a dog and named it The Cat Bastet.

Compassionately intolerant

Major health/comfort ~ma to all Bitches and their kin.

Billytea, you must be me...only, ya know, taller and more boy. Clever, charming, speaktastic and yet to find either Mr/s Right, much less Right Now. But you know what I bet? There is a good reason why none of your preferred box tickers responded in kind...and that reason has nothing to do with the truth about you. Rather, I suspect it has a lot to do with the right one (or several) didn't happen to attend that particular event.

When I teach my relationship classes, I tell my people that 'waste' is just preparation that you didn't enjoy. In this case, you DID enjoy it...so bonus!

Good luck tomorrow night...but even if she isn't there either...good on ya for putting your valuable self out there!

Oh, Stephanie, that's just ridiculous. I'm sorry the bar people are still be such arses.

Ya know what would be funny. Or sick... if I got a dog and named it The Cat Bastet.

I would love this. It would make me laugh every day.

I slept 12 hours last night. I guess I needed it. Now hopefully I'll have enough energy to get some things done today.

I started a new crochet project last night. It's these beautiful rose napkin rings. I was hoping that I'd be able to get either 4 or 6 done by this weekend so I could give them to my parents for their anniversary. Unfortunately, they're taking FOREVER, so I'm thinking I'll be lucky if I have one done. They're really beautful, though.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Stephanie - that sounds crazy. I'm sorry they are being such asshats.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

They lost two certified letters? Well, clearly you had to send them certified so you'd have proof you sent them once they were lost. @@

My Big!Boss is good. She just talked me into coming into work today. She said there was an emergency with the data system, and my boss doesn't know anything about it, yada yada yada. Truth be told, this could wait till Tuesday. I know this. It's been dicked around with for several weeks now. She's trying to get me back in for even a short period of time. I respect her for that. So, I'm going into work for an hour today.
