Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec, I think you'll be amused to know that I've just explained to my friend the social worker the story of the "fuck Bayliss" t-shirt. We'll see if we are still friends.

Good litmus test.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

I thought so.Not that my friendship involves some sort of lengthy confirmation thing or anything(although maybe it should, being relatively close to an appointment for life...in my estimation, at least. Other people have their own ideas about that, frequently, but it is rarely my idea for a retirement.)

I'm getting the pig!

My sis and her kiddos (my niece and nephew) are in MS but closer to Memphis so I'm expecting them to be just fine.

Nicole, where are they? My sis (and my niece and nephew) live in Olive Branch. 2 other sisters live in Memphis/Collierville and my parents live about 40 miles east of Memphis. They're all getting hit with rain.

ChiKat, she's in Corinth, MS. Almost 100 miles away from Memphis. Earlier she said they were stocking up on a few supplies, just in case. Now, of course, I can't get through to her on her cell or home phone. Are you still able to get through to your sisters and parents?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Pictures from last weekend.

Our friend Eric, who played keyboard at the wedding, lives in NOLA, but thankfully he wasn't going home right away. I hope he's got an apartment to go back to...

Hey. New board.

ChiKat, she's in Corinth, MS.

That's about 50 miles due North of my hometown, Tupelo. How cool.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

try to reconcile the different parts of her personality that she shows different groups of friends.
Worlds colliding. I fear this too.
I've just explained to my friend the social worker the story of the "fuck Bayliss" t-shirt. We'll see if we are still friends.
I explained slash to my kinesiologist / massage guy with whom I have been friends for six or seven years on Friday. I think it was after he ordered me to rest for several days and only get up to change the movie. I told him that I had a few movies and then all of the eps of SG:A which got slashtastic this year. The conversation ... evolved from there. The phrase "smooshing pretty boys together" was used. The fact that he is pretty and apart from being straight, terribly slashable, was mostly avoided. I'm pretty sure we're still friends.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Pictures from last weekend.

Awww, it looks so nice! And I can't believe all that food was just the cold appetizers! Also, Jes looks astonishingly awake in those pictures -- she doesn't have bags under her eyes or anything!

I'm getting the pig!

Great pictures, Jessica! I especially like the group shot and the napping pic. Looks like a great time! Vibing that Eric has a home when gets home.

Gris, my sis used to live in Tupelo, a few years back. Small world.

Finally got her to answer her cell and she has a large group of people staying with her, riding the storm out. She says flooding is the biggest problem right now. I'm just glad she's surrounded by folks to keep her sane.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm pretty sure we're still friends.

Only time and research will tell.
