Mal: How drunk was I last night? Jayne: Well I dunno. I passed out.

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

There's always something on which you can damage yourself.

Yes! Especially when you have siblings.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yes! Especially when you have siblings.

They'll do the damage for you! Save you the trouble!

Our wings are not tired

My sister put my head through drywall. I'm just thankful I hit between the studs.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My brother hit me in the face with a piece of tetherball pole that he was using as a baseball bat. I survived.

My dad made me eat, through a straw, (ita-fonted for the squeamish) runny scrambled eggs that he blended with milk and antibiotics. I barely survived.

One is good fodder for the guilt and the other for a short story that I;ve had published a few places.

It all worked out.

FTR, it was all "accidental". The breaking of my jaw at least. Those eggs had oremeditation and extreme prejudice written all over them

Hey, I did this to Robert a couple years ago. Well, actually it was his feet. Left a hole about a foot in diameter.

It was at martial arts, if that helps. Having the rep of "threw husband through wall" is fun.

Guests have gone to Wagons-Lits to see about getting to the islands, so I feel safe to hang out in Bitches for a bit.

Welcome Dylan! And I said in Natter, yay for climbing Annabel. I know it's scary and means the next phase of childproofing, but I love seeing Mallory hit each new development phase.

I had almost no childproofing at home, yet somehow I survived. I've got a misshapen finger from getting it slammed in a door (stitches), I'd experimented with house current repeatedly by age 5, and broken at least one chair by climbing up its back and riding it down to the ground.

My childproofing concerns for Mal involve the sharp marble hearth, the 220v wall current, and the meter-high-and-thus-surmountable wall that divides the second-floor landing from a drop of 15 feet onto concrete stairs. Oh, and the oven that has a child lock but gets so hot on the outside it burns you to touch it. I've decided the only solution is these: [link]

Bwah!

Timelies all! I have a million things to do today before I head to New Hampshire for the weekend. I'm very much looking forward to the retreat, even though I don't know anyone else that's going. That's kind of the point of the whole thing...meet people... But, much to do first.

Raq, do you have IM of some sort? I'd love to chat with you about something. If not, I'll just send you an e-mail...

yep, I'm zone_wombat on Yahoo messenger. (I should get GoogleTalk).

Fair warning - my head is not screwed on straight today. I just burned tortellini...that I was boiling.

Yeah, I'm wondering if it's a side-effect of the Zoloft, as while my PPD seems to be manageable now, my brain has left the building.

Oh, that could be... I know that some ADs can really affect memory and stuff.
