As I have a rather long-standing crush on Peter Davidson, I liked the Fifth Doctor. I disliked Colin Baker enough that I quit watching entirely. My brother and I had the following conversation about the Sixth Doctor:

Very cute. But not entirely accurate. There are girlnerds that play D&D. It's not like saying you do tabletop miniature games - the percentage of women playing those is miniscule.
And I'm not a nerd and I play D&D every week. I'm a geek. I'm not a nerd. And okay, up until recently my gaming group included several other women, one of whom was a Playboy model and exotic dancer.

I am in hurricane prep. Half days for school today. Off tomorrow. I'm not bothering to shutter because I don't expect much wind, but up to 20 inches of rain which could be an issue. I had a full day today with training scheduled in the morning and dental appointments in the afternoon for the kids. I don't know if they will be rescheduled.
I think I'll schedule a canonball party with the kids later to lower the pool level prior to the big rains.

Aimee, definitely check in with your Y to see if they'll work out some type of arrangement with you. Mine is doing that now. They really are pretty good of making sure that everyone that wants to be a member is able to be a member. So, at least check it out.
