Definitely. It's sad that weddings and the related celebrations have become this thing you practically need to take a mortgage out for, instead of being a party celebrating what is, yes, a major life event, but still ... so is buying a house, and you don't spend a year's salary on a housewarming.

so Sunday is the big Niles antique show. on Saturday ( and Sunday ) there are tons of people all over doing tag sales. this year, we are doing one. I am guessing that if we sell everything at the price we want it will be a nice dinner. well, maybe half our new bookshelf wood. or possibly a new sink. and there are people that do it every year.

No! NOOOOOOO! Do not be fooled by the cute picture! It's made from low-quality cotton velvet, it's huge through the shoulders, and there is something off about the fit through the bust & waist. I have not seen that coat look good on *anyone*. It works for a last-minute costume piece, but that's about it.
Most of Newport News' stuff is pretty good. That coat I had to remove from my friend Alexia's house so she didn't try to set it on fire because it made her so angry.
