You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Can't you sleep?

Not until this headache subsides a bit.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Poor sj. Can you take something? Have you?

I woke up with one yesterday, and the only thing that made it go away, after hot compresses, massage, and aspirin, was a nap.

I hope you get back to sleep soon. I'm going to go try again, too. G'night.

Thanks. Yes and yes. I am going to give it a few more minutes and then try to snuggle back into bed.

Now tagless for your comfort.

So, John Crichton is my TeeVee boyfriend. In fact, I think he may well be my TeeVee husband.

Get in line, sweetie. I was a Farscape fan WAAAAY before I was a Buffy fan. He does this thing with his thumb, rubbing his lower lip when he's thinking--I don't know if that's a BB thing or something he came up with for the character, but it's completely charming. When he appears in uniform in A Bug's Life. Duuuuude. I lost it.

I did think this exchange was funny: Me: How old is she? My friend (age 40): 24. And a half.

Heh. Guess that six months really must count.

Up again. This time because I have to be. Headache worse.

Poor sj!

I just got off the phone with MassHealth. They have FINALLY gotten my mail I sent them in their system. Now I should have a decision within two weeks. Thank God!

Thanks, vw. It seems to be subsiding a little, which is good because I have to go to therapy soon. Much ~ma to you on the Mass Health thing.

Thanks! It'll all work out. I'm sure of it. It's just taking so freaking long.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

So, John Crichton is my TeeVee boyfriend. In fact, I think he may well be my TeeVee husband.

The first episode I saw was the S4 premiere, and I tell you, he had me from the moment he started smacking his leather-clad ass to get the space-hound to attack him.

Possibly even before that, actually -- when he yelled in Klingon to the space pirates and then looked at Sikozu and said "Didn't know that, did you? That's because it's Klingon!"

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

John Crichton and Jon Stewart are wrestling for the privilege of being my sekrit teevee boyfriend.

In Jello.

In my head.

It's fun.
