Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

When your company pays for the past few months you can submit the receipts
Yep. It was why this was a good solution all around. But really I just haven't filled scripts or gone to the doctor (next on the to-do list, call doctor about back. demand appt and flexoril.) in the last month and a half. Because even with reimbursement, out of pocket is still that.

Stupid company finally called me back, they swear they sent in the paperwork and they want to "understand what happened" and I just want them to give the information to COBRA, no matter whether it is the first time or not. I think they are overnighting me a packet tomorrow for delivery Thursday. I told them, eh, just fax but I think they are doing both.

My baby shower
I'm still so mad at the blow-out that made me miss this. And? It would have been cheaper than the new tires.

Mostly lurking...

I have good news, and I have bad news.

The good news is that my car insurance has dropped significantly.

The bad news is that the company has changed their installment policies. Instead of being able to spread the premium over 12 months, I now have to pay 30% down to start the policy. Guess I'm gonna be pulling $300 out of my ass again. Boy, my ass is getting tired from all that money pulling.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

My FB (former boss) had a beautiful baby shower at a hotel. It was for High Tea.

I would like it known that contrary to any rumours you may have heard, I have never been high. Well, maybe that one night while I was trying to watch South Park.

Aimee, I'm very glad you set your boundaries. You know where your priorities lie, and this woman is a footnote.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I have been to very few showers, but every single one was at someone's house with cake and finger foods.

The one bachelorette party was a personal shower (at the MoH's house with a cake and finger foods) and drinks/dancing at a local country bar. We all were going to pay for our own drinks, but the MoH thought about that ahead of time and made sure the party was on Ladies' Night. We had free drinks all night long.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Ah, now I get it.

New rule:

Insurance people should stop giving Cassiepants grief and give her quesedillas instead.

"Hmmm... I want to give Cass some grief!" t pulls out frying pan, tortillas, some nice cheese, a little sliced avocado on the side and some benadryl

See why we should let me make the rules?

Oh, and I'll give waivers for resturant showers provided they meet certain criteria. Escalation will NOT be permitted.

Ouch bug. The money from nothing trick gets very very old. I would like the world to give you good news that has no accompanying bad news. None.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Instead of being able to spread the premium over 12 months, I now have to pay 30% down to start the policy.

That sucks, vw! I know this is required when you start with a new company, but to continue an existing one? Sucks It.

Tom and I just realized today we've burned through all our cushion money from the move. Argh. On the bright side, all our books are unpacked! We have a book nook!

Always Anti-fascist!

My birthday parties were always modest and I Almost Died.(No, not about the parties...that was just something I heard on my birthday, part of the legend, you know?) It didn't hurt that I was the sort of kid with one BFF at a time, though.
