I'm just waiting to see if I pass out. Long story.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I thought it was something in the line of bodacious or curvaceous only, you know, erin.

Also, some friends turned me on to the Babylon 5 DVDs. I didn't watch them when they first came out because the Centauri hair was just too much for me, and then when I was interested, I thought I was too late in the arc. Anyway, I just finished S2, and started watching some of the special features. I am so disgusted! They are interesting and wonderful, but include major spoilers not only for the current season, but for future seasons as well. I'm talking major plot points. Ack! I had to stop, but they were good so I really didn't want to. I know, this should probably go in Boxed Sets, but I never post there and just had to rant on this one.

Starting S3 on Wednesday. Yes, I am well and truly hooked. The DVDs are going on my wish list, but I want mine from Amazon, not from an Amazon independent vendor that sent my friends Chinese DVDs.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

And see, I thought it meant like, "very erin" or "full of erin" or something like that.

That's what I always thought too!

I love my wireless keyboard and mouse, but occasionally the mouse freezes up and I have to reboot. Which I just did. Even though I really should have gone to bed an hour ago. Bah.

My post-show "I'm wide awake at three a.m.! I think I'll clean the house!" buzz has just very thoroughly and very quickly worn off. Now I shall fall down dead.

G'night darlings.

Work crisis over, for now.

Baby still cute: [link]

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh, Raq, he really is gorgeous. Five months??? Has it been five months already??

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

That's the cutest evil baby I have ever seen.

And I've seen a lot of evil babies.

Or is that ... oh, hell, insert typical man-bashing comment here. It's way too early for me to be truly witty.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Dudes I am so excited about tomorrow I can't sleep! I've been wandering around the organization's website and getting so excited. Also there's a radio station in the building! An indie radio station! My day will begin with Blues- depending on the day anything from 20's and 30's country blues to jump blues to contemporary and local- and will wind down to this

Texas Renegade Radio is Top 40 Country's worst nightmare.

So tune into Texas Renegade Radio to hear the very best in Texas and country music - from those legendary artists long forgotten by the Nashville machine to a host of established or upcoming artists typically ignored by commercial radio.

I think I'm going to love this place.

What is even happening?

Oh, Raq. He's so beautiful! I love the evil picture, which made me laugh. Christopher was very excited to read over my shoulder, that there is an evil baby. He says his own mean face is meaner than Mal's, though. Is he feeling better?

This picture is just so sweet it makes me melt: [link]

Shameful! How could you not look up "erinaceous" when she's a lexicographer!?
And see, I thought it meant like, "very erin" or "full of erin" or something like that.
I'll sit in the corner, and take the dunce cap, because we don't want to hide Heather's pretty new hair, and I need a cut and color.

I'm sure Christopher has the meanest face! But Mal will work hard to catch up.

He's feeling better, I think. Some success with the grape juice, and I didn't give him any rice yesterday. We'll see how it goes. If it goes.

He's practicing tongue moves, sticking it out and curling it and stuff.
