My brother is leaving for his semester abroad in Copenhagen on Wednesday. I am SO JEALOUS. Also, he informs me that the airline he is flying has WiFi on the plane. How cool is that?? Jealous jealous jealous.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Has Teppy checked back in? I hope she's feeling better.

Eh. Not quite as dizzy, but still moderately dizzy, and very headachey.

Grumble.

Shoes post

Cute, or overly twee? [link]

Why [link]

PINK [link]

Cute, but maybe too pointy [link]

Again, why? [link]

First pair is cute, but definitely bordering on twee--the problem would be to find more than like, one outfit to wear them with. I mean, god knows I have too many pairs of shoes, but ideally you'd want something at least vaguely multi-wearable...

The ruffled bits on the pointy ones would make me crazy.

But OMG, the Why ones? FUG.

Edit: I am STILL BORED> I looked at my bookshelves, and said "yes, these are very good books. I'm glad I own them. But I don't want to read any of them right now, I want NEW BOOKS!"

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Poor, unloved Meara's books

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, Fay! You scrumptious champers sozzled, amaretto drizzled dollop, you.

Susan, it does seem right your Dad has returned to the Alabama clay. I remember my own Mom's funeral being such a jumble of feelings which were complicated rather than alleviated by family. It actually took me a while away from it to really deal with it.

I scraped together some CDs and DVDs I didn't want, cashed them in at Amoeba and with a belated $50 gift certificate there had $138 to spend. Now playing: The O'Jays. Also got the Undeclared DVD set.

My back's sore from all the standing around shopping. t /first world problem

Tomorrow I brunch with ex-minion! I've missed her. Quality of life at work has definitely declined without her company. And she sounds like she's been in a funk for the last couple months, so I'll be happy to treat her to food.

I want a slice of Fay's cake.

You saucy wench!

Am trying to decide if I want to cut my hair.

Do I get a vote?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Cute, or overly twee?

Cute and not too twee.

Too late--boredom means I already cut it. :) It's now chin-length all over, instead of a couple inches longer than that.

My books are sadly unloved. It's terrible. Also, I can never find the ones I want to read. Like Jaran, which seems to be entirely missing. I think I must've loaned it to someone.
