'Soul Purpose'

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Rule #1, "Sugar Free" ice cream and candy sometimes has sugar alcohols.

Rule #2, If you eat too much, it has a laxitive effect.

Rule #3. Don't eat a big mound of Sugar Free Ice cream, topped with too much Sugar Free hot fudge on an empty stomach.

Um... no reason.

Hmm. Something else for Raq to feed Mal, eh Daniel?

I'm getting the pig!

Happy Birthday, Fay!!

Daniel, you might want to move the tv and the computer closer to the restroom.

Not that I'd know anything about that.

Finally started cleaning for sis's arrival and my vacuum cleaner died. This isn't a good start. Damn.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Fay, I'm sorry. I hate that kind of thing. Really, running on Egyptian time is no excuse for just ignoring your emails and leaving you to stew.

We have Danger Mouse playing in the background. A 3-DVD set, under $30. Australian. Brendan was feeling down this week, so I got it for him. Irresistable bargain.

I crowed in Natter but I am feel all x-posty from the happy and doing a shimmy hula dance of victory over solving yet another shitpile that JackAssDave left and the client is now happy. Because of me. I feeeeeeexed it. You know, after the stress and strain of this week, excellent thing to have happen on a Friday afternoon.

Go you! The exoricsm has been performed.

Bishop Spong has a fandom?

Yup. It's called HOT SPONG!!

And, billytea, WTF is up with your Parliament? Banning "mate" as a form of address?

Clearly, they have been smoking the good crack. It's being greeted with incredulity here too. I think it's already been reversed.

You, my friend, are in DEEP SMIT.

Oh, it's true. She came over last night for our regularly scheduled games night. This was unplanned; originally she was going straight home to study (plus, her mother's in town right now, and she didn't want to worry her by being out late). But she called me before leaving work, and She was pretty much looking to be persuaded otherwise. So she comes over.

I was, you might say, less focused on the games than usual. Did play Clue, which was fun. Brendan got it one turn before me, after two people had made 50/50 calls and chose wrongly. Tight game. Then AS and I sort of went off in a corner and talked. So easy to talk with her, it's been many years since I last had this experience of learning everything about a person and feeling like it's just reminding you of things you always knew. (Oh, she also had a look at this board. She says hi.)

I'd told her we normally finish the games sometime between 12 and 1. I finally took her home at about 2. Just lost track of time completely. That whole thing on the phone of "You hang up." "No, you hang up."? Even better in person.

Dooooooooomed.

And now, I need to do some study, to be ready to help her tomorrow.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Dooooooooomed.

So I didn't mention this earlier, but I so knew this from the first post. Is there any proof? Of course not, but it's my story and I'm sticking with it. I knew at their first date when my cousin met her husband, although neither of them knew at the time. Unfortunately, I'm no good at figuring this out for myself, though. Just for others. Sometimes. But never for me.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Birthday, Fay!!!

My friends finally left my apartment after I started yawning repeatedly. It took them a while, but they eventually got the hint.
