Good luck, GC! I took the GRE cold a few years ago (out of college for 10+ years) and, while I scored up there with the top 40% of 4th-graders on the math, the other two sections were easy. Don't sweat it!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That sounds very promising, P-C!
GC, I picked up one of those Kaplan or Princeton Review (I forget which) books for the GMAT and it was very helpful. Hints for studying practice tests, tips for actually taking the test. I don't know if it raised my score any, but it made me a LOT less nervous about taking it.
For anyone who is interested, a picture of the tornado that hit Stoughton, WI last night. Taken by a coworker's daughter looking south over Lake Waubesa.
For even more fun, a map of the location of my condo (red star) and it's location relative to the lake (just right of the red star.)
The tornado was originally spotted over by Fish Hatchery road (runs N-S to the left of the red star.) It was heading towards Monona (just right and up a little from the star.) While I'm terribly sorry there was quite a bit of damage to the Stoughton area, I'm very glad the tornado did not stay on it's original projected course.
Also, yay! for GC. Go get 'em!
ETA: You have to zoom the map out to the "city" level to see what I'm describing. Sorry.
That sounds very promising, P-C!
I know, doesn't it? I'm scared this whole endeavor is going to blow up in my face. The chickens are going to turn out to be MUTANT KILLER OCTOPI.
Thanks for the tips and encouragement, y'alls.

Still good eatin'
One of my favorite sentences I've ever written was in a diary entry where I was describing a night at an Italian restaurant. It comes at the end:
Jonathan suggested the fried calamari, and it was ordered. It arrived.
It looked like onion rings. Onion rings and baby octopi. I don't eat meat besides poultry. It was originally for pseudo-religious reasons, but now that I'm not that religious, it's mostly out of habit.
But after a while, I wanted to try some. It couldn't hurt, right? I debated endlessly. It was also a test of willpower. Could I resist the urge to try it? It was me vs. the squid. It was the squid vs. me.
"Eat me," it said. "Eeeeeeaaaaaaaat me."
"No," I replied. "I don't eat squid."
"But I'm soooooo tasty. Everyone else is enjoying me. I'm fun to eat."
"I will resist your cephalopodian wiles."
Hee. I'm glad I could set the stage for that.
Buffista Tarot is BRILLIANT!!! I would choose The Moon or The Tower for me. (although ita has already been a Moon, so that would be good...or The World).
Do Spong Monkeys count as Buffistas? 'Cause that would sorta rawk.
t laughs maniacally for having earwormed the Bitches and runs away

Congrats GC!
