Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Oooooh, yay on the New Zealandness!

And ya Erin, on the whole new classroom thing!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

To.die.for.

AWWW.... So cute!

I just looked up my books online and they come to $175.50. Sigh. I suppose it could be much worse.

It could be worse, but that doesn't make the $175 a whole lot easier, does it? Last semester, I spent $250 for books for 2 classes. Yikes.

Sitting in my very own classroom, eating a burger, getting ready for the first day of school (which is Monday).

Go, Erin!!!! I can't wait to be able to post that myself.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm so jazzed -- I really like my new co-workers; they're young and enthusiastic, and it's a really small staff, so it's pretty intimate, and casual and innovative. I get my first "real" paycheck in 3 years on 8/31. And I turn 33 on Tuesday.

Yay, Erin!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

You can do that with a variety of useful common objects, Aimee.

I know - I have a letter opener right here, but I thought I'd try to be elegant about it.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yeah, and I can't wait to start to make my classroom look more idiosyncratic. But right now, I gotta work on lesson plans. Exciting.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay Erin!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

School books are so freaking expensive. I just budgeted a whopping great amount for books as part of my education expenses when I was in school. Sitting next to tuition, it didnn't look like quite so much.

Why the eye poking, Aimee?

Librarian Warlord

you didn't say anything about my ticket.

Damn, there goes your birthday surprise... Oh, well... now I'll have to come up with something else.

Erin, your own classroom! That is exciting!

One of my work mates just got notice that the baby he and his wife have been waiting to adopt has been born, is a girl, and his healthy!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Just irritated with work stuff. SURE! We can bill a tenant for $330 worth of missing visitor badges, but we need actual BACK-UP TO PROVE IT.
