sj, you may be able to get some of them used from the school bookstore. It can save you a little. Just try to find the one's with the least highlighting in them. :)

I just looked up my books online and they come to $175.50.
Can you buy any of them used? Maybe last year's students will be hanging up flyers on campus to get rid of what they don't need anymore?
I can't look at the calendars at the moment because there are students everywhere and I am trying to convince them I'm a professional type.

Sitting in my very own classroom, eating a burger, getting ready for the first day of school (which is Monday).
I'm so jazzed -- I really like my new co-workers; they're young and enthusiastic, and it's a really small staff, so it's pretty intimate, and casual and innovative. I get my first "real" paycheck in 3 years on 8/31. And I turn 33 on Tuesday.
