Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Thanks, all, for the kind words on the haircut. Yes, my daughter is unbelievably talented. I like to brag her up.

ION, the tornado siren here has gone off 5 times in the last hour. For the fourth one, I hid in the bathroom because a tornado had been spotted on the ground in Fitchburg (about 3 miles southwest of the condo) heading towards Monona (about 2 miles northeast of me). Guess who was in the direct line? Yeah. However, it's now past and did not do anything at all around here. In fact, I see blue skies out my windows now. Still, nothing like having a little weather in your life.

ETA: Oh, I wanna be Judgement! I'm a Libra, I'm good at balancing things (but not juggling.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yes, my daughter is unbelievably talented.

That too, but let's face it, she's got good stuff to work with.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I LOVE WILLIE NELSON!

Me, too. My dad and mom are coming into town tomorrow night to see him in concert. I think it will be fun.

Job, good. Hair fire, bad.

Aww, shucks, Hec. It's just genetics. The durn curls run in the family and we aren't getting rid of them anytime soon. I wish I'd gotten a picture of Alexia with me. If you think my hair is curly...not even close to hers. It took her a number of years before she finally learned to embrace the froness of the family hair. Now that she has, I reap the benefit. Yay!

Tom and Nora or Zmayhem. Because the Phoenix made them them.

Thanks, erika!

I wanna be in the deck. I don't need to be anything special though. Minor Arcana is fine. That seems right to me, too.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Thanks for the ~ma folks. I still have my job (said only half-jokingly), though the CEO is not pleased with the comedy of errors that led us to this point.

I'm sorry you had such a shit day, Maria. God knows you don't need that right about now!

Damn Maria. I'm sorry it's so hard for you lately. You deserve good stuff.

Thanks Nora. It's even going to intrude on my day off tomorrow. 9:30 am conference call for damage control.

Edit: You too, meara. We both need to catch a break.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Many sympathies, Maria.
