I think what my daughter's trying to say is: nyah nyah nyah nyah.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Oh, P-C. I'm sorry. All this stuff can be so hard.

Now it looks like I'm heading to Northampton today to buy yarn. What fun!
Given gas prices, do you think that's really the cheapest yarn you can find? I mean, wouldn't it be more reasonable to buy yarn that might cost a little more per skein, but that you don't have to go so far for?

Well, it's 25% off, which is a big chunk of change. I think it's worth it. But, first I have to call and see if they have the colors I want. This may be a moot issue.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I used to live in Northampton! When I was, like, two or three. Or maybe four. It's the earliest I can remember.

Oh, P-C. I'm sorry. All this stuff can be so hard.

Spectral Bovine: I don't think I've ever lost a friend on this scale before.
Merinda618: I know, darling.
Merinda618: You didn't lose her, though.
Merinda618: She is lost.
Merinda618: And hence...everybody loses her.
Merinda618: You didn't do anything that wasn't what Sunil would do. And that's all we need from you. Be you.

I like Merinda very much.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

But, first I have to call and see if they have the colors I want. This may be a moot issue.

Can they mail the stuff to you? It's such a long drive.

Me too. I don't know what I'd do without her.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Merinda is wise.

I always conclude that these people must lead deeply, deeply uninteresting lives.

But what's wrong with eccentric? I aspire to eccentricity.

Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do. They have to special order the colors anyway. I'm glad I called before I headed out there!

All is well that ends in pizza.

Heh. Google Personalized page has this for word of the day:

parley: a conference or discussion; also, to confer.

Having just watched the Big Gay Pirate Movie, this amuses me.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

But what's wrong with eccentric? I aspire to eccentricity.

Oh, nothing. But people whose response to my family is "Wow, look at the whacky eccentricity"... clearly not very interesting people, imho. It's not like any of us go around trying to be whacky and eccentric. We're just us. And we're not The Addams Family, or anything.

(Which, again, nothing wrong with being that, they're cool, but - really, fairly normal here. Not sheep, certainly, but not way out wild and zany either. So if we're pinging someone's eccentric-o-meter, then they're probably not having a very interesting existence, imho.)
