So....details! Spill, please.
Oops, did I just put that out there and then go to bed? Very sorry, it's not like me to tease.
Oh dear, and I have to get ready for work now. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get to it later today. Or something.
'Serenity'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you stand close enough, you can hear the granola starting to encase my whole body...
Now I'm visualizing an Illyria-type transformation. Did you accidently inhale something, Plei?
Granillyria. Look upon her whole grains, fruits, and nuts, and despair. She has no use for plastics, for they embody the excesses of a weak civilization.
feels bad for really liking that book as a kid
I loved that book as a kid. Also, I have an Uncle Sambo (or rather, did, as he's passed away).

Unfortunately, her home world rotted away due to lack of preservatives.
I am also lazy
I am lazier, as I use a service for the cloths. Other than washing the covers, it's pretty foolproof. Since we use both cloth and disposable, I feel like I have a good handle on the pros and cons of both.
I have nothing to say about cloth diapers, really, except that I love them. After breastfeeding, I think they are the best decision I've made so far. I wash them myself. The mess, which is minimal at this stage, doesn't bother me. I suppose it will get messier over time, but like Plei, I'm in no rush to introduce solid foods, and cloth diapers are supposed to help in faster potty training.
A friend of mine is having a baby in a month or so, shower on Sunday, and a mutual friend just emailed a bunch of us with her shower gift: set-up and one month's delivery for a local diaper service, with the service's phone number and the family name and account number in the email, so anyone who wants to can kick in. So frelling brilliant!

Is this because the tots are sitting in wee rather than having it absorbed into a regular diaper? Just curious.
Sigh.
We took Em to school today. She was ok most of the day but got cranky toward the end of the day and she was coughing and she had gobs of green out her nose.
Sigh.
Sort of, disposable diapers today pull all the wetness away from the skin so they don't feel the wet and miss the pee = potty cue that they would probably get from cloth. That's why the Pull ups today stay damp. Of course, if you have a kid who couldn't care less, then wet or dry doesn't matter (yes, my son was almost 3 when he finally started using the potty because he couldn't be arsed to care)
Edit: Oh Aimee, poor Em (poor you guys)
