Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Today has been interesting. Yesterday, my boss asked me if I would be in this morning because he needed to meet with me. I got a bit paranoid thinking I had done something wrong until 10am today when I got an email from Big!Bosses requesting a meeting at 10:30 with me and other managers. My boss is leaving the company in 2 weeks.

I'm not happy about that because I really like him. But, they restructured my dept. under the CFO who was my boss a few years ago. I like him, too, so I know I can work with him.

Still. Sucks.

OK, here's what I have so far: the stuff in brackets needs retooling BAD. GC could give that stuff an F.

It was nice to meet you last week at the Hotel. I really enjoyed talking to you about (company)'s technology; the artificial intelligence technology you're employing is [really interesting], and [definitely speaks to my educational and professional background]. If I'm ever in a position where I can assist you at (company name) I hope I may contact you.

Aimee, so glad Em is better and you slept.

Nora, I forgot to mention earlier that I think that your basket sounds fantastic.

SJ, I think you'd make a killing. You could use ebay even.

I think they might... thought I don't know much about ebay... but it's worth a shot. The baskets are so lovely.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I've totally been musing about the possibility of setting up a Buffista eBay store -- there are so many of us with random and lovely creative gifts, it seems we ought to be able to do something with 'em.

Step 1: Collect random creative talent. Step 2: (we don't know what step 2 is yet) Step 3: PROFIT!!!!
