I agree with the advice that you need to do what feels right to you, but remember, life goes on. You need to play. Maybe it's just me, but I feel that living my life to the fullest is the best homage I can pay to my (both deceased) parents.

I am editing a doc that is so far off base that my powers are helpless against it. I do a couple of pages, sigh, and come on the board. IT'S SO BAD! I wish I could write a big fat F on it and send it back to the writer.

In my first tech writer job, I scrawled "Oh good GOD" across the 20th really horrible page in the draft manual and returned it to the developer. My boss fell in love with me then, I think.

That should be perfect then. You need layered hair to really get the pincurls to work. You'll look ultraglam! There are some pincurl tutorials at the vintage hair live journal.
