Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

A hat? I do. It's very pretty, with big yellow letters.
Want. That. Hat. (pretty please can I have one?)

Actually, I was talking about Taronga.
Actually, I was trying to lure Madrigal to San Diego. With our capybaras. (Though luring BT back is a lifelong thing...)

Which downtown?
In this particular rainstorm? Yours. Dealy Plaza. I was drenched.

I kinda like the loss of power times.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

We have a couple of squares downtown. There's Dealy, Thanksgiving and Artist's, off the top of my head. We like squares downtown.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronk. Can't sleep. Coughing.

This cough makes no sense. Aren't coughs supposed to get better as the cold gets better? I had a fever for a couple days, then that got better, but the cough keeps getting worse. It kind of feels like I'm starting to wheeze now, too.

Stupid lungs.

I thought the coughing was supposed to get worse rather than better because you're getting rid of the crud.

Oh, then Dealy Square. He doesn't have a plaza even?

It was strange to be randomly driving and suddenly be in an iconic location. That the heavens rained down on us when I dragged my host there was mostly amusing.

Also the square seemed a little triangular. Nicer than anything here, but not square.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Have decided to be an adult about things I want my non-existant sugar person to purchase me. Bling is all well and good, but property's better.

My sugar person, weighing the options, has decided that a modest house in a good school district not far from the city is the perfect gift:

Now, if I could just make this sugar person REAL....

No, it's a plaza, but we've got lots of those types of things. Made for lots of good meeting places on Dallas. I never will forget when Bobby broke Pam's heart in the middle of Thanksgiving Square because he thought it would be best for her, but only because her evil half sister Katherine manipulated him into thinking that since Pam was actually going to reconcile with him.

It's possible I watched that show waaaaay too much.

I feel culturally ashamed that, in a rainstorm, I ended up in a plaza and thought Kennedy and not Ewing. I blame the liberal media.

Damn.

Fixer up the street from my old apartment: [link]

Already sold. Updates, such as the are, look cheap. Suspect wiring probably not updated, though box is. Popcorn on the cove ceiling.

I'm remembering why we wound up here.

That's right. We couldn't afford there. Dayum.

And that's when you could still occasionally find a fixer there for under $200k. (A fixer with interesting details, like that one, would probably have still been at least $250k.)

(The place we offered on there was a 1br, 3/4 bath in need of a lot of work, and we offered $170k, which was a grand over list, if the seller would have a furnace installed. He rejected the offer, though he called a month later, after we'd signed on this, to see if we were still up for it. I saw one, about the same size and in similar fixer shape, list and sell for $260 or $270 recently.)

ION, I'm completely addicted to Pixi Mate Mocha Latte on ice.
