I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's a fundamental grammatical error to put the words 'bad day' and 'at the zoo' in the same sentence.
It really is. I have a bad day, go to the zoo and it's all good. The zoo is lovely.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

You have not been at the zoo when it is 90F, Billytea. We did, once. That was kind of bad.

Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, middle of January (great zoo, BTW, it's got lots of space to play with). Doubt not the breadth of my zoo-going experiences.

And it puts San Diego at the top of places in the US I would want to live, should I find myself in that situation again. Not that I intend to. Home is where the cutie actuarial student is. Did I say that out loud?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Did not see Kat and lori, though they were there in theory and no signs mentioned them being off exhibit.

We were there. We missed active cats, though we did see the Tiger at about 9:30 AM and I'm told it's rare to see him. Also we watched the polar bears play WWF for about 1 hour. FUN. In the evening, we caught the pandas eating.

Though today's weather was PERFECT.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

billytea, it sure sounds like you are having a fine time getting to know AS. Hope everything works out for you two. ~ma to both of you, for whatever uses you have for it.

It's a remora, dimwit.

This reminds me - we've got to set a date to go to the Taronga zoo while the weather's still so mild.

Hi Madrigal.

We'll try to visit San Diego when we get back to the US. But Taronga boasts the largest platypus exhibit in the world. And I just have to see if they have capybaras.

OMG, like we don't have capybaras... And I think I offered you and Almanzo a guest room without, you know, axe murdering you earlier...

Sheesh. A girl tries and tries....
