Wash: Don't fall asleep now. Sleepiness is weakness of character. Ask anyone. You're acting captain. Know what happens you fall asleep now? Zoe: Jayne slits my throat, and takes over. Wash: That's right. Zoe: And we can't stop it.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

That's Katie Holmes not Joey Potter. Both are irritating, but in completely seperate ways.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

That's Katie Holmes not Joey Potter.

It's not like she can use her real name, what if his army of minions were to find out?

All is well that ends in pizza.

If it was Harry Potter, it could have been spells....

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So Oz is wrapping me like a mummy in his leash, running like there's no tommorow, while Max is yanking me back and forth and Lily is gamely trying to stay right by my side while I'm being dragged down the street.
Hee!
hey, I saw a clouded leopard weekend before last!
Aren't they gorgeous? God, the gorgeous...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I want to eat at Plei's house.

Utterly. One of my favourite cats. Along with the snow leopard, which I also saw!

This whole 'going to the zoo' dating model is a great one. Because even if it's a bad date, it'll still be a good day. I must explore this further.

Hmm. AS has told me whereabouts she works, and this being a small industry, that pretty much told me her employer. So I know which building she's in, and it sits slap bang in the centre of the view from my window. I'm finding this distracting.

This is fun!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

was this the weekend when we had talked about you and O. coming down to go to the Aquarium? I mean, obviously it didn't happen, and I know you're both sick right now, but -- *was* this the weekend? Or had we talked about another weekend? Because any time you want to bring the boy down, I would love to see you!

I *though* it was the 20th, since I was worried about you being tired and broke from the wedding stuff.

My parents decided while I was up visiting them this past week to make their annual pilgrimage to Ohio on the weekend of the 20th, however. So I'm afraid we need to push it back. You're booked the 27th, right?

No -- actually, I'm booked the weekend of the 20th b/c my brother and SiL will be in town for Shindig #2: Electric Giftaloo. The 27th, however, would work just fine for me.

bt, even though it wasn't a date when you visited here (though you *did* spend the night at my place, but we won't speak of that in such genteel company), you were the perfect zoo companion. Even in the cold weather and surrounded by animals with OCD and the World's Stupidest Fairy Penguin(TM).

Oooh, you are watching the detectives AS...

Clouded leopards, snow leopards, the black jaguar... Sigh... Kitties.

Speaking of Oz, poor boy is all grown up now. He was very confused. It's off to the vet tomorrow.

ETA: I am a horrible family member. I somehow skipped over an email from my cousin for almost a week inviting me over to her new pool this past Saturday. I suck.
