I need those shoes....
sj, maybe it is time to stop doing every friday as an expected thing? Sometimes the expectations of a friendship - the we always do this - get in the way of appriciating ( I tried to spell that word three ways) the friendship. Friends aren't supposed tobe mean - sometimes they are frank, but it isn't supposed to be mean. Now maybe you are 'oversensative' ( whatever that means ) but I am guessing that is the way you have always been. Or it is a sign that your depression is getting worse. Either way your friends should know. None of this helps with tonight, but maybe it is something to think about. Or I could be makeing stuff up so I can ignore my list.
More tease for Daniel: Baby spinach with cheese and the rest of the bacon. Microwaved until cheese is melty. (spinach was thinking about going bad, so wanted to be cooked rather than eaten raw.)
Harvey is now purring heartily from the ledge by the stairs.
ma~~ to Toto
I often blame the board for my porny thoughts
Maybe it's Fuck Chuck or Mary?
Emmett's a big Curt fan after last year's World Series but has been a bit conflicted about Curt's politics.
Curt's a gamer, that's good enough for me. Besides, I have plenty of Republican friends, but I had to ixnay a potential friend because he'd bought a Yankees cap ("Well, they are the winners all the time, right?").
I have a couple recipes I was going to contribute for the cookbook that I got from other people, but they might've gotten them from cookbooks. I'm not going to do due diligence to find out. Also, as they were passed along by oral tradition, they've probably changed anyway.
Or maybe he wants to say, sj, if you don't enjoy these Friday night outings, perhaps it is time to re-think them. Friends who say negative things when you are already dealing with depression, they are not very helpful.

I have been trying to make the Friday night thing less of an expected thing by occasionally making other plans, but usually I give more notice than this week.
T. knows about the comments that other friend makes in our [but usually my] direction, but she won't consider either backing me up in talking to the other friend about it or just not going out with her anymore. T and I have been friends for 22 years, and I don't really want to give up spending time with her. So I feel stuck. Either go out on Friday and take the abuse or give up going out with either friend all together. I don't really like either choice, and if I try to stand up for myself other friend acts like she has no clue what I am talking about. Or, maybe she really is that clueless. Grr. Sorry to be complaining so much.
well, it's not quite cousinjean
Poor girl really is going to become a fandom term isn't she?
I'm making baby food this weekend!

My baby's breath smells like baby food.
Not that I have a baby or anything.
