Tara: That was funny if you've studied Taglarin mystic rites and... are a total dork... Riley: Then how come Xander didn't laugh?

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

We're all concerned about Toto, vw. He's one of us, except for the typing part.

Because books.

Vibing hard for {{{Toto}}}. And for {{{vw}}}.

Librarian Warlord

vw, I'll be thinking all good thoughts for Toto. With my fingers firmly crossed.

On a totally different note, the review for Matty Groves came out in Kirkus:

Penny and Ringan may be the most appealing couple of modern mystery, and Grabien again provides terrific historical tidbits.

If Deb is still reading here -- Woot!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Robin explains Flappers, Batman introduces us to Art Deco, Wonderwoman explains about Women's Suffrage...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ooh, Batman likes the Chrysler building.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh, Fay! That is hilarious! Robin dancing like a flapper. And Lobo meets Emily Post -- ahahahaha!!!

It really is completely insane, isn't it? I'm particularly taken with Batman explaining Gatsby. And the Jazz section.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Cindy, I forgot to tell you Emmett's reaction when he got a present from JZ returning from her trip. She got him a mounted Curt Schilling baseball card. Emmett's a big Curt fan after last year's World Series but has been a bit conflicted about Curt's politics.

So first he was happy. Then he looked perplexed. Then he said, "Well, he may be a Republican but at least he isn't a Yankee."
