Nora, it is odd. Seems to me that anything you label a dance you should be able to bring your own partner. I'd be wondering if the big boss people's spouses would be there, and it was just the peons they were trying to save money on.
Did I mention that we get students tomorrow? Who the hell stole my summer?
Can't really help with finding a new chiro on your own, but I work with 2 and I'm guessing yours would probably be at least sympathetic and might also have a referral for you. Chances are he doesn't want to stay late for you either, if it really means that much of a wait for him.
If you really don't want to ask, though, I guess you'd probably look to see who is covered by your health insurance and then call to see if you think it would be a good fit, or ask others in your office if they know anyone good.
Just saw this:
I have a presecription for Lexapro, to try and cut my anxiety levels. Who's been on it, what should I expect, what are the odds of my murdering the adorable cherub and his free-spirited siblings next door?
I'm on it. It's put a floor under me. The downside has been, my get-up-and-go has got-up-and-went. Not really drowsiness, just lack of motivation to do anything.
Or maybe I'm just slowing down as I hit middle age. I don't know.
Thanks Aimee. I'll call her soon.
what are the odds of my murdering the adorable cherub and his free-spirited siblings next door?
It's amazing how few people are concerned about the possible fate of the little darlings in the house next door. Though Doc said, "Murder your husband, there will be less talk." With Hubby sitting there!
And just for the record, MY chiro has one too.

MY chiro has one too.
No picture!
I think the idea of a work dance where you don't bring anyone is
horrible,
because I'm not going to dance with any of my co-workers.

It's a bad one, but there ya go.
