Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

While gardening I ran into a plant that covered both the inside and outside of my dress with little burrs. most of which I got off the dress. however I itch like a ____________ ( you fill in the blank). and need to shower. However, I started watering the lawn before I reliezed I was so itchy. so I have to wait.

Up with the sun

I like this combo:

  • Black capped-sleeve dressy stretch t-shirt that criss-crosses in the front and shows some cleavage
  • Black pointy-toe flats with silver buckle detail

I don't think there really is such a thing as dressy flipflops, though I know it's the style now.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Yeah, flip flops are by definition casual but these have some rhinestone detailing that make me call them "dressy." I don't want to be too dressed up looking - more cool, casual, hip looking if that makes any sense. I know I'll be better dressed than the friend who invited me as she NEVER dresses up. Still, I want to feel like I look good when meeting new indie rock peeps that I admire.

Punishingly Intricate

I third this option:

Black capped-sleeve dressy stretch t-shirt that criss-crosses in the front and shows some cleavage

Black pointy-toe flats with silver buckle detail

Since we're doing polls...Should I go see the penguin movie or You, and Me, and Everyone We Know tonight? Or, for that matter, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory?

Here would be my order of preference:

    • Penguins
    • You, Me
    • Choco Factory

Mostly lurking...

Well, shit. I have to tell the kids I'm leaving. I mean, I know I need to not just disappear, but this is gonna be stressful on them and me. Plus, they're finding out at 3pm that the head of education is also leaving.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

yay VT hootennany! How was all the family togetherness?

A bit too much, really. But I survived, despite having NO PRIVACY (seriously, my parents have no boundaries).

Speaking of which, I love that cherry dress on you!

Thank you! Though, after seeing the pictures, I should have worn a bra. Ooops. That's why I wore the little black shrug.

Punishingly Intricate

Honestly, I'm a little afraid of how much the Penguin movie is going to make me cry.

Yikes!

vw, I'm sorry. I'm shaking my fist at the administration of that place.
