Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

how on earth did you do it?

Mostly, judicious use of Teacher Voice. Also, there was only one kid who was really trying to fight -- the other was pretty much just trying to shove him away -- so once they were separated, it was pretty much just talking down the one who was still trying to throw punches. Still, not fun.

What is even happening?

I had decided I was going to put out an APB on you Hil, if you didn't post by Monday morning. Hi!

Mostly lurking...

Hi, Hil!

{{{Askye}}} You've still got time to do something...don't be so hard on yourself.

I just got up. Lazy Saturday, I guess.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I have spent the day looking for a desktop computer I could afford, and I haven't found anything yet. So, I purchased Buffy S7, because it was in my goldbox cheaper than I have seen it anywhere. This is probably only justifiable in my mind.

Thrive to spite them

Thanks vw --

I've got some cards that I was going to send her -- a few at a time--- I think I'll write memories in those, that way she'll get them at various times this week.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Askye, that sounds nice. I'd love something like that. Nick kind of grimaced and shrugged when he remembered it was my birthday. If he's got no money, he's out of ideas.

sj, I think that seems perfectly reasonable. Hewlett Packard sells refurbished computers. I just remembered that.

Good morning (for some of us, anyway). The babies let me sleep in late. Then we had canteloupe and blueberries. It was a good way to start the day.

Thanks. I checked there. Did you get my e-mail yesterday?

Yay, babies!

Askye, that sounds like a very nice thing to do for your mom.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I just talked to JohnSweden - he's on his way over for lunch and hanging out in the Haight with me and Emmett.

I suppose I ought to cleanup the living room a bit.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yay babies and blueberries.

I need to leave in 16 minutes. I haven't showered. Or packed. Or taken care of the cats. I, um, have done my laundry and put the clothes away. And I am slashing the most unlikely things on tv. I also need to pick up my nephew's present on the way up to the party. So I am posting. It's all about the time management, baby...
