Spike's Bitches 25 to Life
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
(they gave me at least twice as many vicadin as the dentist prescribed.)
This is a much better screwup.
So Mom talked to the store manager (who wasn't the head manager) and she was nice and horrified about the mistake and said at the very least the cashier who gave Mom my meds should have asked to verify my birthdate, etc. And that they'll pull the tape and find out who it was and that the Head Manager will be talking to the cashier and the pharamacist.
I'm glad. The thing is, your mom didn't ask for your script. It was just next to hers I am guessing. It wasn't even a same last name thing, it was oops grabbed the wrong thing. That they let her take them after she brought it to their attention is criminal though. Or should be.
I like the screw up Perkins got.
Whoa. I have no prescriptions. Well, I have some refills left on shit I'm not taking (BP meds, BCPs, pre-natals), but I have no prescriptions! Dude, this makes me so happy. I hate having to remember to take pills, and the last year has been pill central for me.
I don't know what the difference is between prenatals and other vitamins. Is it something specifical to growing an (obviously adorable and lovable) little alien or just a supersized multi?
I loathe taking prescriptions but usually just the numbers vary. However, unlike Plei, the pill usually solves more health issues for me instead of creating them so it's just a ritual I am used to by now.

I'm betting it is.

Differing amounts of stuff. Less A, more folic acid, blah blah blah.

Well, except for the mini-pill moodies, they weren't *causing* health issues. I just suck at taking pills. You'd think, given that I've often had to take pills, that I'd have learned, but I still have NO time sense, and everything except the prenatals was time sensitive.

Me too, except for the part where as I was running out the door to work on Tuesday, I grabbed the pill bottle with the most pills in it, so I could take it with me for my afternoon dose. That should have been the anti-biotics bottle, but it wasn't.
Wait. This is why my doctor always wants to make sure I am taking folic acid, innit? The one who knows that I am getting none, on the pill (okay for other reasons, but he doesn't particularly know or care) and had her D(now)xH fixed. Hrmph. I just assumed that the multi that I occasionally think to take has it and said yes.

I was thinking of the moodies mostly. I am randomly good at taking stuff on time. I try to find things that have some give in their timing. I work better with a range.
V.W. that that pharmacy did is terrible.
I'm going to try a "lightening" your fried zucchini recipe (Cause I still have weight to get off)- using just a teaspoon of oil with fat free chicken broth to fry the zucchini in. And dipping in egg white instead of egg. Sometimes I get away with this sort of thing sometimes not.
askye, that's horrible. How irresponsible!
I once had a script for 30 Ativan. I got 178. I counted. And I remember, 'cause it was such a weird random number. I called, and they were mortified.
The last time I picked up all my drugs before I ran out of insurance, I got a weird, random med along with all of mine. They were in a big bag, and I'm sure it was just human error. Fortunately, it wasn't anything like a narcotic or anything...it was something for reflux, I think. I called, and they were all, "Oh, could you bring that back tomorrow?" like nothing ever happened. They should take these things more seriously, if you ask me.
Typo Boy, that sounds like a good lightening plan. I may even try it.
TB, I bet you could even use the pre-packaged egg product for it.

It's generally good for you, I think, but that's probably the case. Just in case. I think they feel (wisely so) that all potentially-fertile females should take it, as it's sort of a pre-conception/pre-knowing-you're-knocked-up thing of import for preventing neural tube defects. IIRC, it's why most breads are now fortified with it. Because you never know, and you can't do a retroactive upping of your levels.
Your multi probably has it. I know mine did. My prescription pre-natals had slightly more of it than one can get in a single OTC pill.
