Punctuation and money~ma to Aimee. I'm sorry you are having such a rough time. You are a good mom. You love your daughter so much, and you care so deeply about doing right by her. Spend time with her. And spend some time taking care of yourself. When you find yourself afraid of screwing up, remember that as we all screw up, you want to teach Emma how to fix screw ups rather than pretending to her that her mom Has To Be Perfect, and therefore if she is less than Perfect, she's no good.
ETA: "up" because this just wasn't meant to pr0n
{{{Aimee}}} I hate the money woes, yes I do.
Oh, Aimee. I'm sorry. Please don't let this make you doubt what a wonderful mother, wife, friend, Empress, and person you are. We all fuck up with money. But you will only get through this with your sanity intact if you do not personalize it. You made a mistake. You will fix it. You are still a good, wonderful, loveable, loving, deserving person. Never forget that. With money problems, to be sure. But good nonetheless.
That sucks Aims. But what are they going to do to you? They've already repo-ed the car (and wasn't that, like, forever ago?), what more can they do to you.
And doesn't the repossesed car cancel out any remaining debt?
Also Aims, you're one of the best mothers I've ever seen, and you're doing a damned sight better than S and I are right now.
Personally, one of my most damaging childhood memories is that time my Mother balanced her checkbook wrong...
{{Aimee}} Money stuff sucks. And has nothing to do with being an attentive, loving Mother.
Aims, I'd worry a lot more about how often your daughter likes to fall and whack her head on the floor.
