Just keep validating. I've talked about this with you guys, my therapist and my parents. I know I'm in "wise mind," but I'm just so afraid that I'm actually in "emotional mind" and making a huge mistake.
I did give two weeks notice, so that gives me time to try to find something at school (UMass Boston), and it gives me one more paycheck.
Ugh. This just feels awful.

Dang it, the nice long fic I've been reading has gotten impossibly maudlin. Souled!Spike just does not say "I'm trying. It's hard, but I'm trying." more than once in a lifetime, let alone once every chapter.
Maybe the author confused Spike with Spike's much more sensitive and gentle brother Rod.

{{vw}} Big changes are difficult to make, but you've done what's right for you and you've done it in the best way possible by giving them notice and letting them know why. I've just told the boss folk around here that I'm going to be looking for another position, and they are all happy and supportive of me and I still feel badly about leaving them. It makes no sense.
