Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

So the district manager calls me today saying he got "An anonymous tip, and heard from several of my employees" that I was planning on leaving because my boss had told me that I'd be fired eventually anyway.

Hate to say it, but it sounds as if your bosslady was badmouthing you to the staff. or she did so to someone who extrapolated and gossiped.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Jessica's sunset pictures are amazing and the lilybean is gorgeous.

Yay on school, Deena. This was the optimal Preschool Outcome, right?

Yes! It was the one I wanted her to get in to, both because I like the people and because they provide transport.

Deena, could you hop on AIM for a minute?
Oops. I was re-bedding a small person. Sorry I missed you.

The status is NOT quo.

Kristin, I think I can get you a Legoland dragon of your very own.

Cass! I am bouncing up and down now.

Not here though. Sleep now.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I (finally) finished HP6 tonight. I want to read the literary thread but am woefully behind. Anyone here that can link me to the beginning of the HP talk?

Duh - I just jumped to the date the book was released.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEENA!!!!

And yay for preschool news!

{{{Hec}}} So sorry for the sucky day. I hope today is better.

I just e-mailed someone who offered me a job at the beginning of summer. I'm sure all of the positions are filled, but just in case, I thought I'd follow up with him.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Lilty & hec- sorry for sucky jobs and sucky bosses with sucky communication.

Now that things are calm, life here at my job is OK, except for Annoying!Co-Worker, but what can ya do. Annoying people are everywhere!

I am PMS-ing hard, I hate it. I feel awful about my body, and my tounge and teeth hurt, and I just feel generally completely uncomfortable all the time.

Last night we got the last of the flatpacks upstairs. By "we" I mean "Tom." I sat on my yooge ass and organized piles of papers/mail, caught up on the itemization of our expenses, and wrote some checks. Hopefully tonight we can start building the entertainment center so our sitting room looks halfway decent by the weekend.

ETA: Happiest of Happy Birthdays to the lovely Deena, and I am happy for the plan of Kara going to pre-school in the fall! For you and Kara!

I want to go back to Ohio so bad. I miss my niece and nephew SO MUCH. Plus, if I am lucky, I could see all the Buffista and Buffista kids I also miss.
