Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

's room, I found my never wrinkle, good for anything dress for the interview. The only shoes I can locate that would work are my old character shoes (no taps). Can I pull it off?

Obviously too late to really answer but...I don't see why not, unless you're interviewing with someone with a shoe fetish.

Then I woke up and decided I have too many voices in my head.

Hahah!

It's like the Employment Sprites get annoyed when people give up a paying job before they've secured a new one.

True. Unfortunate, but true.

IObetterN, it looks like we have a roommate!

Aww, yay! That's good at least.

Trying to mentally meara is haaaaard

Heh. I'm trying to think what this would be if I weren't a verb...

Last night I had a dream that GF and I adopted a beautiful baby girl from Romania. It was a very real, very vivid dream. I woke up a bit bummed that she wasn't real. Hmmm...

Subconscious trying to tell you something, Gloomcookie?

Deena, that's all pretty good news, especially free school! Whoot!

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I was so excited. She's just too smart to stay home with me all day for another year. Getting to go to school with her little brother on the bus every day, play with lots of other kids, get to do "homework", it's going to be such a treat for her.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You know, Hec, it seems like the number one work problem almost everywhere is ineffective (or nonexistent) communication. People know this, but fixing it is a bear. I'm sorry that you are its latest victim, but I'm glad that you were able to resolve things so quickly and, it sounds like, well.

Yep. Five minutes of conversation with my boss would've prevented this.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Five minutes of conversation with my boss would've prevented this.

But if your boss is like mine, it takes 3 weeks to get to him for a 5-minute conversation.

Thrive to spite them

I just got back from a very nice walk. I've been meaning to walk after dark when it's cooler, but today was the first night I tried it.

I just went up and over a few blocks. But I saw 4 different groups of people walking and 2 bicycle police.

And I need some FIND MA. I've got to find my social security card and I remmber putting it someplace "safe" but I don't know where that was.

Yeah, she doesn't really like talking to me. She doesn't really like talking about work to anybody. She likes the social stuff and the event planning. And since Good Boss left she's not been in the office as much. And since she doesn't really understand the admin stuff, she just kind of shoos it in my direction expecting it to be done, but I don't usually have the necessary information to complete it. Feh. This will have negative consequences.

Hec, I really hope the negative consequences are suffered by someone who deserves them and not by you. What a horrible day.

Thanks, Askye. She's over the moon. Tonight we went to the disney store and got her a couple of shirts off the clearance rack for "school clothes". She thought that was the neatest thing ever.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for Kara. She is going to love school.

((Hec)) Sorry about the work suckage.
